This is to inform you of my experience with realtors who offered discount rates and promised high quality work. I was looking to sell my 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom, and patio townhouse in the Sylmar area. All of my life, my family and I have lived in an apartment, condo or townhouse. Single-family homes had always been out of our reach, it was time for our family's first real HOUSE! I thought of doing a For Sale By Owner, but that would require a lot of time that none of us had. We all work full time and my sister and I attend college part time, and with no experience in real estate. I did not want any mistakes or headaches, which could have happened. My only frustration was not finding Carlos Ordonez and his assistant Monica Herrera sooner, from Park Regency Realty, Granda Hills office. I first went to Coldwell Banker with my idea of selling; I also went to interview Re/Max, Realty Professionals, just to name a few. I even went with some of the referrals of family and friends (they didn't return calls until a few weeks later). All of them were offering me a lower discount rate but they would not list my home for the selling price that I was asking for. Their lack of confidence in selling my home for the asking price was very troubling to me. Once I met Carlos, he presented me a market evaluation of my townhome, and he had faith that it would sell for my asking price. He promised me a very aggresive marketing plan and he performed as he promised. Shortly after, I found myself in escrow, and on my way in pruchasing our first house. His quality of service has been outstanding, and we have continued to do business with him.
